The nextNY Mailing List started by Charlie O'Donnell is an excellent forum for connecting with and getting advice from the up-and-coming tech startup crowd.

Blogs such as Henry Blodget's Silicon Alley Insider and Allen Stern's CenterNetworks do a fantastic job of covering the local tech scene with breaking news and timely interviews.

The city has many educational institutions and programs that support and nurture tech entrepreneurship including NYU's ITP Program and Columbia's Science & Technology Venture (STV) Program.
