Description

The Wharton Alumni Business Plan Competition is now accepting applications for the 2010 competition. All early-stage ventures with at least one graduated Wharton alum on the team are welcome to apply. Applicants should have no prior VC funding, no more than $100k in angel funding, and no more than $200k in revenue. Concepts are welcome as well.

The online application (http://www.quia.com/sv/364272.html) is due on January 29th and should only take no more than 20 minutes to complete. Business plans and executive summaries are not due until February 22nd.

After your submission, we will contact you regarding the completion of your $125 application fee. The Wharton Alumni BPC has some great judges lined up, like Jeff Fluhr (Wh '96), founder of StubHub.com, and looks forward to reviewing your submissions. We will announce the winner at the Wharton Club of New York's Entrepreneurs' Gala on April 29, 2010.

For more information, please join our Facebook group (http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=217915879914) and visit the BPC homepage (http://www.whartonny.com/bpc). If you have any questions, please contact Mark Chou at mark.chou.wh09@wharton.upenn.edu.

The Wharton Alumni Business Plan Competition is an initiative of the Wharton Club of New York whose purpose is to encourage early-stage companies and concepts by the Wharton alumni community by soliciting business plan ideas from them and providing a competitive forum for evaluation and showcasing of these business plans to potential investors and service providers.
