 We’re happy to announce that registration is now open for our next Advanced Ruby on Rails training class.
This one is in New York City at Rockefeller Plaza Center on Friday, December 5th, 2008.
thoughtbot will teach programmers who are familiar with Ruby on Rails real-world skills to take their use of the framework to the advanced level:
* Rails best practice patterns and anti-patterns
* Refactoring with confidence
* Test driven development with ease
* Contributing back to the community with plugins and gems
Using Umbrella Today? as a case study, we’ll walk through our process and our code. For truly deep comprehension, each lesson is accompanied by a hands-on workshop where you’ll code while we mentor by your side.
Tickets are limited to 20 and cost $595. Register by October 31st for the discounted rate of $495.
All classes run from 9AM to 5PM and include breakfast, lunch, a t-shirt from Tee-Bot, and the book Pro Active Record co-authored by thoughtbot President Chad Pytel and CTO Jon Yurek.
